Improve your eyesight by just gazing!

People with nearsightedness (myopia) or farsightedness (hyperopia) or astigmatism and other kinds of poor eyesight often face with many difficulties in seeing things and improving quality of life. They always need supplement such as eyeglasses and contact lenses or sometimes they choose to go through surgery (lasik surgery) in order to get their vision back. However it is not always easy to use those methods as they may bring a lot of side effects.

In this article, I will show you one of many easy methods to improve eyesight naturally. That is the "Trataka" or Tratak meditation. This kind of meditation requires you to sit and gaze at one still object for a period of time. It can improve your vision by making your eyes concentrate on that object and after a while your eyes will have more focus and will see everything clearer day by day.

This meditation can be operated in two ways. The first one is by gazing at candle light and the second one at a simply small object.

To prepare for the meditation you should sit on a rug or a meditation mat with your legs crossed. Also, your body have to be relaxed and your back and neck should be straight. In front of you there has to be a candle light put on the equal level of your eyes. The flame should be as small as possible and should be still with no air flowing by. Put the light far apart from you for 2 feet. If you prefer not to use candle flame, you can also use any small object and put it in front of you for 2 meters.

Now begin to gaze at the flame or the object without blinking for as long as you can until your eyes become watery or feels the strain. Then close your eyes and start to visualize the flame or the object image with your inner eyes and mind. When the image dissolved, repeat the process from the first step.

After practicing this meditation, your eyes will gradually improve as time pass by. It doesn't only improve your eyesight but also improve the level of your concentration.
